1. General Competition Fee Policy
The standard registration fee of ₹500 (inclusive of applicable taxes) is charged to cover the technical infrastructure, Creator Kit access, submission management dashboard, and professional jury review. Because these digital resources and processing costs are unlocked immediately upon registration, fees are generally non-refundable except in the specific technical circumstances outlined below.
2. Technical Duplicate Charges & Erroneous Deductions (Eligible for Full Refund)
✅ 100% Refund Guaranteed in the Following Scenarios:
- Double Deduction: Your bank account or UPI was debited twice or more for a single registration due to network timeout or gateway lag.
- Debited without Registration Generation: Funds were deducted from your account, but the payment gateway failed to return confirmation and no Registration ID was created.
- Overpayment: Any excess amount inadvertently paid over and above the confirmed registration tier.
3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will NOT be granted under the following circumstances:
- Change of Mind: If a creator registers and later decides not to produce or submit a film.
- Missed Deadlines: Inability of the creator to submit their film before the official submission deadline.
- Disqualification: Disqualification resulting from plagiarism, copyright infringement, defamatory content, or violation of competition rules.
- Jury Outcome: Disagreement with the jury's scoring, shortlisting, or final award decisions.
- Technical Limitations: Failure of the participant to ensure compatible video formatting or reliable internet connectivity.
4. How to Request a Duplicate Payment Refund
If you have experienced a duplicate debit or payment failure:
- Send an email to
payments@nationalreelsfilm.com with the subject line: [Payment Dispute] NRSFC 2026 - [Your Name].
- Include:
- Full Name and Registered Email / Mobile Number
- Date and Time of Transaction
- Bank / UPI Reference Number (UTR)
- Cashfree Order ID (if visible on receipt)
- Screenshot of the duplicate bank debit confirmation
5. Refund Timeline & Mode
Once verified against our Cashfree payment gateway logs:
- Duplicate charge refund requests are verified within 24 to 48 business hours.
- Approved refunds are credited back directly to the original bank account, card, or UPI VPA from which the transaction originated.
- Banking reconciliation usually reflects within 5 to 7 standard business days depending on your issuing bank.
6. Cancellation of Event
In the highly unlikely event that the competition is cancelled in its entirety by the organisers due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, registered participants who have not received evaluation will be eligible for a full refund of their entry fee.
